Who Are You Working For?
from:Deb St. George, Publisher, GettingToSuccess.com
When you are creating your pay per click advertising campaign it is important to keep in mind exactly who you are working for. By establishing this fact from the very beginning you can save yourself a lot of wasted hours, dollars, and more than a little bit of hair pulling along the way. You may believe that you are in business for yourself. While this is true to a certain extent; it isn't the rest of the story. You are working for the visitors you are hoping to attract at the end of the day and you need to have them in mind during every aspect of your campaign planning.
Who is Your Target Audience?
This is a question that only you can answer. You must be able to answer it though before you can have a truly successful pay per click advertising campaign. You must remember your audience and make sure that the keywords are chosen with them in mind. The landing page should be built with them in mind as well. In fact, every aspect of your campaign should be designed for the sole purpose of getting your visitors to buy from you. If you aren't doing this, then you are allowing money to be thrown away one click at a time.
Answer Questions
Those who visit your websites are likely to have questions. While you can't be there to answer their questions in person; you can offer the answers to many commonly asked questions about the products you are selling. The goal is to create a sustainable income for yourself with pay per click advertising. This income is definitely possible to achieve. You will need to answer the questions that your visitors have though in order to develop the trusting relationship necessary to get them to buy from you. Anticipate the questions they will have by answering for them the questions that you had when studying the products in question and making the decision to promote these particular products.
Offer Solutions
Solve the problems that your audience has and they will become loyal listeners to your sales pitch. Keep in mind that simple solutions are often the best. Present a problem in the ads and then offer the solutions on your landing page. It is an excellent combination that can bring about amazing results when it comes to your sales figures. If you have any doubts, give it a try by testing this idea on one of your own pay per click campaigns. The results should convince you when nothing else would ever be able to come close.
You should never lose sight of who it is you are really working for. You may own your own business or be your own boss but your business isn't going anywhere without those loyal fee who come back day after day or find you through sheer blind luck. When you add pay per click advertising into the mix you are opening the doors to a world of surprises. Make sure that you are taking your audience on this amazing ride along with you.
